Meet Edmonton Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Lena Kim, NDI’ve always helped people, it’s just part of me, like breathing. So my decision to become a Naturopathic Doctor was a very easy one.
It’s always tremendously rewarding to see patients improve their health and go on to live happier and healthier lives, knowing I took part in their journey.
I thank everyone I have seen, talked with, and treated so far over my years of being a Naturopathic Doctor for sharing a part of your life with me.
A Naturopathic Doctor is given the tools to help you overcome current illnesses and also, if you choose, reach beyond your current state of health to achieve something very special. Something that helps address the ever changing landscape of your life.
Because our lives have always been about transitions, we go from the exuberance of youth to adulthood and beyond. Every stage brings a different focus and different health challenges. Which makes my work with patients both rewarding and constantly changing. I look forward to helping you through the changing seasons of your life.
In my spare time my favorite things are reading, spending time at the gym, travel, and food. My husband and I just love to cook and discover interesting places to eat both here and abroad. We always joke that we travel on our stomachs.
Yours in Health,
Dr. Lena Kim, ND

Doctor Kim’s Naturopathic Professional Associations and Education
I completed my premedical requirements with an Honours Biology degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, while concurrently working on medical research in my final year. It was then that I decided to become a Naturopathic Doctor.
Close to my home town of Brampton, I entered a four year post-graduate program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Following graduation, I passed the Board Exams required of Naturopathic Doctors before you can apply for licensing.
I am actively registered and licensed with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta as well as a member of our National Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
